Gladius – CANTERBURY FESTIVAL 2020
Gladius: Canterbury and Krakow Tales
A video document made in the art correspondence convention, will bring closer the historical and cultural contexts of the Middle Ages. The musical layer of the document draws from Polish and European medieval music written in honor of St. Stanisław from Szczepanów and St. Thomas of Canterbury.
In the documentary, the music corresponds with the author’s realization of the image, which draws from the hagiography of both saints preserved in visual arts.
The premiere of the document will be available on the CANTERBURY FESTIVAL 2020 festival website – KENT’S INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL (www.canterburyfestival.co.uk)
